Veramonte has two estates in some of Chile's most famous wineries: one in the Casablanca valley and the other in Marchigüe in the Colchagua valley.
The wines have been made according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture since 2014.
Sustainability, innovation and the search for excellence in every detail are some of the most important values in this cellar.

Veramonte's history began in the 1990s while Casablanca was still an unexplored valley. Forty hectares of white sauvignon were planted, giving birth to the first cellar in this region. Very quickly, Veramonte ventured to explore other varieties such as chardonnay, pinot noir, merlot and syrah.
The project founder was Agustín Hunneus and González Byass took over in 2016.
Today, with more than 30 years of history, we have become a certified organic and biodynamic winery dedicated to the development of fresh and authentic wines.

- Casablanca Valley is a valley with a cold coastal climate; the property is at the foot of the coastal mountain range. The vineyards are surrounded by 2,500 hectares of native forest and are influenced by the cool breeze and morning fog of the Pacific Ocean, which moderates temperatures and provides the ideal conditions for growing fresh climate vines. On flat surfaces, soils are composed of decomposed granite and clay with good drainage; roots can reach nearly 6 meters deep. Granite with quartz and mica are abundantly found on the southern slope, at the foot of the coastal mountain range. The vines in this area have much lower roots, about 1.5 to 2 meters.
- The Colchagua valley is about 150 km from Santiago in the south. It is a warm area of the central valley, between the two mountain ranges, the Andes and the coast. The Marchigüe estate is located in the coldest place in Colchagua. It offers soft slopes where the soils consist of granite broken down by place, and red clay in other places. This valley is perfectly suited for red grape varieties such as carmenère, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and small verdot.
