EL PASADOR DE ORO is a brand of rum created by Jean Moueix and Alexandre Sirech from the company Les Bienheureux.
El Pasador de Oro is made from eaux-de-vie from Guatemala.
The rum is made using a concentrate of sugar cane juice growing on clay and volcanic soils called sugar honey.
After distillation, they are raised in solera system, as is done for sherry in southern Spain.
Aging is carried out initially in the country of origin then it is matured for 6 months in Cognac barrels, in the cellars in Charente.
The final blend is made from rums aged 6 to 15 years.
