Croatie - Istrie 

The Kabola estate is located in the region of Momjan and Buje in the north-west of the Istrian peninsula at an altitude of 275 meters, with views of the Alps and the Dolomites, which gives it a postcard decor. The vineyard has been present there since 1891. It has belonged to the Markezic family for several generations but the vagaries of history have not always favored entrepreneurial creation and the estate was for a long time more a farm than a full-fledged wine estate. . The grape variety is made up mainly of native Malvasia, Muscat and Teran plants as well as a small proportion of international grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

Skin maceration for 12 to 24 hours then fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature.

Tasting Notes:

This wine presents a fine aromatic palette, the nose is varietal on lemon. The whole is aromatic and pleasant, the palate is fresh with lovely bitter notes that enhance the fruit and perfectly replace the naturally low acidity of the grape variety. A fine example of what this grape gives when it is worked with care.
