The Domaine Pujol and its 140 hectares are part of the history of Minervois. the story began in 1880 in Saint Frichoux in the Aude.
On the foothills of the Montagne Noire, in an amphitheater facing the Mediterranean, Saint Frichoux still retains, in the memory of its soils, the memory of a salty sea.
In the 1880s, Louis Biscan, was a small winemaker in the village of Saint-Frichoux, among many others at a time when the work was hard and carried out by hand or with the help of a horse. He owned 5 hectares of vines, still owned today, and vinified in his tuns to deliver the wine to the merchant through the intermediary of the wine broker, a very widespread profession at that time.
Today it is Stéphanie and Emmanuel, the two cousins, the 5th generation, to take on the role of winegrower with the same humility.
Stéphanie takes care of communication, wine tourism development, social networks and marketing.
Emmanuel manages and organizes the cellar and vinification part in collaboration with our consultant oenologist, takes part in marketing.
Yves manages the vineyards and takes care of the maintenance of equipment and facilities.
Jean-Claude remains in contact with customers and agents and studies new projects and requests. He also works on marketing and sales development.
The family farm has set in motion a new dynamic: intense work has been carried out in the vines, the dressings and the vintages have been revised (in addition to "Marins d'Eau Douce", the cuvées "Les Gaillards" and "Mercredi 12h30" have been launched) and the decision to switch to certified organic farming has been officially confirmed. The Pujol family has always been a believer in organic and ecological practices and they see nothing but benefits.

Splendid Minervois, this plot selection is a magnificent terroir wine!
A real curiosity, this white Minervois made from maccabeu and white grenache invites discovery: freshness, pineapple notes, ripe white fleshy fruit. On the palate,...
