A rare wine from a single plot planted with 4 grape varieties, old vines planted in 1936 at an altitude of 300 m, facing south-east, protected from the setting sun.
Grape varieties :
85% grenache gris, 5% grenache blanc, 5% carignan blanc, 5% carignan gris
Direct pressing, fermentation in barrels, aged 8 months on lees, stirring of the lees every day during fermentation and then once a week until December.
Bottled in the spring.
Tasting notes:
Barlande is delicate with notes of acacia and white fruit. The palate is both full and fresh, with fine bitters on the finish. This wine has a sharp profile, a lovely saline allure and a beautiful finish of pebbles and white pepper.

Back on the family lands since 1984, the Parcé brothers first distinguished themselves in the development of banyuls mutated on grains in the style of vintage ports (vintage), to which they brought a precision of flavor and an aromatic intensity up to 'then unknown.

The vineyard, very fragmented, benefits from solar exposure and varied altitudes. Two vintages of high expression do justice to the potential of Collioure: Côté Mer is the reflection of the maritime terroir, Montagne, that of the terroir of the inland, at altitude. L’Argile is a founding wine, one of those who instilled in the region's winegrowers the desire to produce great dry whites from local grape varieties.
The age of the vines, the control of yields, the maintenance of the original grape varieties allow Domaine de La Rectorie to produce AOP Banyuls and AOP Collioure wines of irreproachable quality, in harmony with the identity of this terroir. An exceptional consistency of the range, in the three colors in dry wine as in natural sweet wine.
Domaine de La Rectorie L'Argile
Wine aged under a natural veil of yeast, in barrels, for 2 to 4 years (like the yellow wines of Jura). Very elegant wine, beautiful freshness with a slight salinity.
Its deep red colour reveals a nose of candied red fruits and spices. The palate is powerful, greedy and ends on a long finish.
