The other vintages of:
In Aveyron, Françoise and Jean-Luc Matha have been producing marcillacs since the early 1980s. The 15 ha estate of terraced vines is located in Bruéjouls in a valley (here, we say vallon) dominated by the château de Panat. Jean-Luc Matha is no longer a partridge of the year and yet his wines breathe the youth of the rediscovered slopes of Marcillac.
His vineyard is planted with Servadou iron, on average 45 years old. Alban, his father, gave him passion, "the desire to want".
If he chose organic, it was to respect the wines that roll the "r". Officially certified AB since the 2016 vintage, the estate has banned all chemicals for more than 10 years and only uses treatments of natural origin: copper, mineral sulfur, nettle manure and other herbal teas.
As he does not like notes of pepper, he scrapes all the cuvées. His wines are always deep. Time, low yields, indigenous yeasts and even music give the wines their unmistakable personality.
