This wine is a blend of about twenty "Climats" (around 40 plots): the development and composition of Pouilly-Fuissé Château-Fuissé "Tête de Cuvée" is based on the taste and structural complementarity of the different terroirs of Pouilly- Fuissé and reflects the geological diversity of the appellation. The other vintages of:

Château de Fuissé

Château Fuissé has been the property of the Vincent family since 1862, and it is now Antoine, the fifth generation, who has the task of perpetuating the excellence of the estate located in the heart of Mâconnais. The 40 hectare vineyard is located in the towns of Fuissé and Pouilly, halfway up with a south / south-east exposure.

The clay-limestone soils provide Château Fuissé wines with both structure and elegance. The care given to the vines is traditional by applying reasoned viticulture and only organic manure, preserving the terroirs. The soil is worked by plot in order to limit erosion and ensure respect and authenticity. The vines of Château Fuissé are harvested separately and manually according to the "climates" and are mainly located in the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. Finally, traditional Burgundy winemaking and aging for several months in oak barrels make the vintages from the Château Fuissé estate undisputed references in southern Burgundy.

The castle has many old vines, on the major appellations of Mâconnais, as well as a small 3 hectare vineyard in Juliénas.

Since the 2014 vintage, the Vieilles Vignes cuvée has disappeared from the range to highlight the localities for future premier crus. Antoine Vincent, who embodies the fifth generation, has been vinifying here since 2003. The maturities of the grapes are always very successful.
From the 2018 vintage, the wines erase criticism of the woody notes of previous years.
