Here we are in Gradoli, a village 450 meters above sea level north of Lake Bolsena (the largest lake of volcanic origin in Europe) and close to the border with Tuscany. Andrea Occhipinti makes natural wines that are very easy to drink and very refined with both the local aléatico (known especially on Elba Island, vinified in mellow) and grechetto rosso on volcanic soils.

Alea Viva is a red of joy, with powerful notes of rose (typical of this grape), accompanied by pepper, mulberry, fragrant cherry and minerals. In the mouth, it is fresh, but above all salty with a vertical dimension. Fruity and crunchy, excellent if served slightly chilled.
