Clos Centeilles
La Part des Anges 2018
IGP Côtes du Brian
France - Languedoc
Since 2002, Clos Centeilles has produced this "claret" red, an old southern expression designating light, fruity and tasty reds. Halfway between a rosé and a red, it is all the fruit of an overnight wine. Delicious !
Grape varieties:
50% carignan (100 years), 30% riveirenc noir (15 years), 20% piquepoul noir (17 years).
Vineyards in terraces exposed "full south".
Tasting Notes:
Light color but deep in color with nuances of grenadine. The light structure of a red wine blends with all the fruit and freshness of a powerful rosé: the best of both worlds! Final with melted tannins, exalting fruit and candy characters.
To be enjoyed fresh like a rosé or at room temperature like a light red.
Wine style:
Fruity and gourmet red wine
Food and wine :
Heirloom tomato salads with fresh oregano and candied garlic. Grilled and smoked black pork loin with rosemary from the Languedoc garrigue.
Aging potential in your cellar:
3 years
Analytic :
75 cl - 12% volume
Content with sulphites

This original property, located in the poetic environment of the Causse de Siran, is managed by Cécile Boyer-Domergue, always helped by her mother Patricia. Their wines are the result of work of exemplary integrity, focused on the cultivation of rare or forgotten grape varieties. The expression of the fruit on the nose is always a little candied, while on the palate the wines show rare elegance and great finesse in texture, especially the pure cinsaults. The great cuvées are only sold at their peak. The estate produces a pretty dry white made from forgotten varieties: white araignan, white and gray riveyrenc, as well as a raisined harvest, Erme, in the spirit of "noble wines" formerly produced in Minervois. We must salute the uniqueness and strength of this approach, winegrower and memorial, which offers a major landmark, not only for the Minervois, but for the whole of Languedoc.
Clos Centeilles C de Centeilles blanc
A blend of old Languedoc white grape varieties, the nose is floral, the palate is round and very dry with a slightly bitter and saline finish. A wine of gastronomy.
Clos Centeilles C de Centeilles rouge
A blend of old Languedoc grape varieties, the nose is marked by black fruits, the palate is concentrated, powerful, with civilized tannins. Here is a very original...
Aromas of spices and pepper. Smoked notes. Few tannins, but fine and well melted. The mouth is elegant.
Evolution notes in the dress. Aromas of smoky earth, liquorice and raspberry cream. The aromas are on stewed fruits but freshness is present. The barely...
