The Barolo from Ettore Germano's "Vigneto Cerretta" plot is the basis for this Vermouth Superiore Del Professore. A great, rare and prestigious wine is therefore the essence of this exceptional vermouth!

           

Thanks to a careful and respectful handcrafting, a secret blend of spices meets the noble full-bodied red wine of pure nebbiolo variety, enriching its fine bouquet and the elegance of its silky tannins.

Then a long traditional aging in oak barrels gives birth to a unique product, in a quest for balance, depth and persistence.

     

Tasting notes:            

Very great complexity: rhubarb, nutmeg, noble woodiness, bitterness of wormwood, cola, quinine, cloves, Christmas spices, vanilla. A very soft texture in the mouth, delicate and elegant.
Exceptional vermouth, complex and very racy!

The creator of Vermouth del Professore, Leonardo Leuci is a passionate man with great expertise. A globetrotter, he divides his time between cocktails and travelling the world in search of new spirits after having been a bartender in many countries including Cuba, Greece, Turkey, Spain, Venezuela, Mexico and Saint Lucia.


Thanks to a background that also includes experience in sommellerie, Leonardo Leuci has combined his know-how in spirits and wines to create a craft range (vermouth, liqueur, gin...) in collaboration with the Quaglia distillery in Piedmont.
